Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who has inventory management experience to join our rapidly growing company to help our client oversee the accounting daily operations.
A Senior Accountant needs to be self-starters who are able to multitask effectively. Strong communication, organizational skills are essential. Demand for technology expertise is high but may include proficiency with such applications as Microsoft Excel, or Google Docs.

The Senior Accountant ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Being a senior Accountant analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Prepares complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. In addition, may guide or review the work of support staff or junior accountants. Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. May require Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Goals are generally communicated in “solution” or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.

Job Responsibilities
– Monitoring inventory transactions
– Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger
– Preparing monthly journal entries as needed
– Developing inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances
– Assisting in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory
– Verifying accurate standard costs
– Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
– Examine the levels of supplies and raw materials to determine shortages.
– Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
– Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
– Special projects as required

Job Requirements:
– Degree in Accounting
– Certified Public Accountant
– At least 10 years of experience
– Inventory Management experience (must have)
– Preferably with Ecommerce experience
– Excellent English skills
– Detail oriented
– Needs to be tech-savvy
– Self-driven and problem-solver
– Must be comfortable meeting tight deadlines
– Organizational skills
– Trustworthy
