Content Management (Project Management Role):
– Plan and schedule video uploads.
– Ensure content complies with YouTube policies and copyright laws.
– Coordinate with video editors and thumbnail designers to ensure timely delivery of videos.
– Create copy for description box including content overview, products, and related videos.
Channel Optimization:
– Analyze YouTube data to identify growth opportunities.
– Ideate video topics based on research with a YouTube Strategist.
– Monitor and improve viewer engagement rates, including click-through rates, description box optimization, impressions, cards, and end screen credits.
Performance Analysis:
– Regularly analyze conversion metrics from YouTube to products and services purchased.
– Analyze channel analytics to gauge content performance.
– Prepare reports on viewership, revenue generation, and audience growth.
Content Creation:
– Partner with strategists on YouTube ideas and outlines for video topics.
– Create a customer journey from top of funnel (TOF), middle of funnel (MOF), to bottom of funnel (BOF), and incorporate appropriate calls to action.
– Have a strong understanding of the client’s customer avatar for copy and topics.
Qualifications:
– Strong understanding of YouTube’s platform, algorithm, and analytics tools.
– Knowledge of storytelling, audience retention, and hooks.
– Experience in video editing and graphic design.
– Strong project management skills and experience creating dashboards.
Requirements:
– 2-3 years of experience managing and growing a YouTube channel.
– Comfortable with video editing and graphic design tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
