We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our finance and accounting team based in Europe. The Details

Location:
Remote, work from home.

Job Type:
Full-time 40 hours per week.

Salary:
80,000 PHP – 100 000 PHP per month (based on experience)

Hours (in Philippine Time): Client is based in Europe
4:00 PM – 12:00 AM PHT

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting
-Compile Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
-Consolidation of Accounts: Combine multiple entities or departments’ financial data for unified reporting.
-Tax Preparation: Calculate tax liabilities and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
-Budget Planning: Collaborate with management to create annual budgets and forecast future financial performance.

Quality Control
-Review & Validation: Conduct reviews of financial statements and reports prepared by junior accountants to ensure accuracy.
-Data Integrity Checks: Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts to safeguard data integrity.
-Audit Support: Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing all necessary documentation and clarification.

Time Management
-Scheduling: Develop and maintain a reporting calendar to ensure timely deliveries of all financial reports.
-Deadline Monitoring: Keep track of all relevant accounting deadlines, including tax submissions, and regulatory filings.
-Prioritisation: Coordinate with other departments to establish priority levels for different types of reports.

Compliance & Risk Management
-Regulatory Adherence: Stay abreast of local, state, and federal accounting standards to ensure full compliance.
-Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks and recommend appropriate risk management strategies.

Skills, Experience & Requirements
-At least 2-3 years remotely working online for US, Australian, or European clients.
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field. CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.
-At least 2-3 experience as an Accountant or similar role in an accounting firm.
-Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
-Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
-Proficiency in XERO accounting software and financial management systems.
-Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-High attention to detail and accuracy.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
-Experience working from home, remote, and 100% online.
-Excellent time management skills
-Ideally external audit experience (Big 4)
