Role Overview:
This role is critical to our business as the work you do will enable our install teams to complete their job efficiently and improve our customer experience. Reporting to the Project Manager daily, you will ensure all work has been completed to the required standard.

Responsibilities:
• Utilise property tech surveys to conduct technical surveys for all insulation work, including cavity wall insulation, loft
insulation, internal wall insulation, external wall insulation, room in roof insulation, extractor fans & trickle vents,
combustion vents, and insulated flat roof work.
• Measure, photograph, produce drawings, plans, and install plans to advise our installation team on agreed work at site with
the customer.
• Prepare enable work at customer property, including cutting access panels to loft spaces, making good after, drilling holes
to inspect cavity, cutting access hatches into floors, installing trickle vents, and core holes.
• For complex installs, discuss with our install team and customer via emails and teams at the start and during the
installation work.
• Produce materials & equipment lists for planned work as well as costing.
• Liaise with other contractors to ensure the site is ready (e.g., scaffolders, skip hire, and plasterers).
• Support installs teams with their work from time to time.
• Assist our planning team to book planned work in from site and at our offices.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements at all times for all live sites.
• Draw plans for installers where necessary and also prepare customer agreements of works.
Providing accurate cost advice to clients including preparation of estimates / cost plans during design (Schematic, Design
Development, and Contract Documentation Stages) or tender stage

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field including quantity surveyor.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and adjustments related to survey data.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, maps, and legal descriptions.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in survey measurements and documentation.

Desirable:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
