Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Chat Support Specialist with a strong background in customer engagement, online chat support, relationship management, and sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for building relationships, and a proven ability to drive sales through chat interactions. This role requires a proactive approach to engaging customers, providing exceptional support, and maximizing sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Engage with customers via chat to provide assistance, answer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through personalized interactions, demonstrating empathy, and understanding their needs.
Proactively initiate chat conversations with website visitors to offer assistance, provide product information, and guide them through the sales process.
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services based on customer needs and preferences.
Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads generated through chat interactions and nurture them through the sales pipeline.
Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage leads, and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Stay informed about product features, updates, and promotions to provide relevant information and recommendations to customers.
Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to chat support and sales conversion rates.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve the chat support process, enhance customer engagement, and drive sales effectiveness.

Requirements:

Previous experience in customer engagement, online chat support, relationship management, and sales roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers virtually.
Proven track record of driving sales or meeting sales targets through chat interactions.
Familiarity with CRM software and chat support platforms preferred.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.
Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales objectives and exceeding customer expectations.
