The Opportunity
As the Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operations of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination among various departments, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining exceptional service standards. Your duties will encompass strategic planning, stakeholder management, performance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll jump-start your career with us by taking ownership of these key responsibilities:
– Provide strategic guidance and direction to department heads to ensure alignment of company objectives and priorities.
– Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions and stakeholder engagement by conducting regular meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
– Implement metrics and KPIs to assess operational performance across all departments to identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency.
– Ensure collaboration and synergy among different teams by facilitating communication and knowledge sharing to optimize processes and outcomes.
– Contribute to the development of long-term organizational strategies by providing insights and recommendations based on operational data and market trends.
– Proactively identify potential risks and challenges by developing contingency plans and mitigation strategies to safeguard business continuity.
– Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive review by summarizing key performance indicators, operational insights, and strategic recommendations.
– Oversee the implementation of changes and improvements by coordinating with the engineering team to understand and prioritize PR requests and ensuring seamless deployment and minimal disruption to operations.

Who Is Our Ideal Candidate?
– Willing to work 9 AM-6 PM Eastern Standard Time
– Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment such as technology, security, or operations management.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with either Business Administration, Management, or a related field is a plus.
– Proven ability to think strategically and develop actionable plans to achieve organizational objectives.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
– Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward common goals while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
– Experience in managing client relationships and engaging with stakeholders at various levels, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and value.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and evolving business needs.
– Knowledgeable in AI, surveillance systems, and data analytics.
– Collaborative mindset with a passion for driving cross-functional teamwork and achieving collective success.
– Familiarity with engineering processes, including understanding how Pull Requests (PRs) function from an engineering perspective, their lifecycle, time required for completion, and ability to assess pros and cons.
– Takes initiative: Has a sense of urgency and performs necessary tasks without needing to be prompted
– Responsible risk-taker: Willing to take calculated risks, create informed decisions, and take accountability for subsequent results
– Excellent command of the English Language (written & spoken)
– Detail-oriented – pays attention, especially to the minor details of tasks

– Low ego – if you don’t know the answer, you ask questions. You aren’t afraid of anybody knowing what you don’t know.
– Honest – even when the truth isn’t great, you speak it. If you had an off day, or your manager is wrong, you say so.

Nice to have:
– PMP, PRINCE2, other Project Management Certification
– Is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
– Power BI Certification, Oracle Business Intelligence Certification or any BI related certifications
– Six Sigma Certification (at least Yellow Belt)
– Basic knowledge of Python, Java and SQL
– Has used any of the following: Salesforce, Pipedive, Hubspot or Any CRM tools
– Has used any of the following: Jira, Asana or any PM Tools

Compensation and Perks
