Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Strategic Planner

We are a 4-year-old small business with a solid reputation in our community. As we look forward to expanding our operations and establishing a stronger footprint, we’re in search of a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help spearhead our growth journey.

Job Summary:
The COO will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s future. As the second-in-command, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, executing our company’s strategies, and suggesting continuous improvements. While our founder focuses on the manual labor and core service deliverables, the COO will be the backbone, ensuring efficient and effective management of the business side.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the CEO to translate the company vision into actionable strategies.
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.
Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
Drive the development and implementation of operational best practices.
Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.
Build strong relationships with key business partners, stakeholders, and customers.
Prepare for and potentially transition to a full-time role as business needs expand.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within our industry.
Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing.
Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business development.
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with the operational intricacies of small businesses is a plus.
Compensation and Hours:

Initial commitment of 1-2 hours daily, 5 hours per week.
Compensation rate: $4/hour.
