Chief Technology Officer

Job Overview:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will oversee all technical aspects of the company. You will work with executive management to grow the company through technological resources. Using an active and practical approach, the CTO will direct all employees in the IT and IO departments to attain the company’s strategic goals established in the company’s strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop the technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
Discover and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage.
Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.
Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.
Manage and optimize our in-house software development efforts.
Lead the recruitment and development of a high-performing technology team.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CTO, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.
Extensive experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP.
Extensive Project Management experience.
Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
Understanding of budgets and business planning.
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
Excellent communication skills.
Leadership and organizational abilities.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with modern frameworks and technologies such as React, Click to view, and Laravel.
Background in software architecture.
Experience in Agile methodologies and project management.
Proven track record of successful project delivery.
