Chief Technology Officer (Tech Lead Role)

JOB DESCRIPTION
As the CTO and Tech Lead of ARX Compliance, you will be responsible for taking ownership of our technology development. You will work closely with our existing technology partner to understand and enhance the current solution while transitioning the development in-house, and building a robust internal technology team.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute the company’s technical strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
– Take ownership of the existing technology, enhancing and optimizing it as necessary.
– Lead the transition of technology development from our partner to an internal team.
– Be hands-on with the development, contributing to coding, architecture decisions, and problem-solving.
– Oversee the architecture and development of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
– Collaborate with the Co-Founders to identify opportunities for innovation and drive the implementation of new technology – solutions.
– Ensure the company adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security standards.
– Perform operational leadership, including daily stand-ups and sprints.
– Lead, define, and optimize processes related to QA, releases, etc.
– Work closely with founders to create tech roadmap and strategize products.
– Lead, mentor, and guide developers throughout the project lifecycle.
– Engineer robust, scalable backend systems
– Construct and uphold CI pipelines, staging, and production environments.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a CTO, Tech Lead or similar technical leadership role, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment.
– Strong expertise in software development, particularly with TypeScript and React.
– Experience in building and scaling technology Click to view have experience with

– You have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
– You are an engaged, sociable, and reliable person.
– In-depth understanding of computer science principles and software engineering best practices.
– You are a skilled and passionate developer and enjoy working with technologies such as Typescript, React, and Rust.
– Willingness to travel extensively in Norway for workshops and training.
– Valid passport ready for travel.
– Excellent leadership and team management skills.
– Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:
Up to $4,500 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
