Children’s book illustrator

About Me:
I’m a self-published author with a passion for creating imaginative and engaging stories that inspire young readers. I am seeking a talented and passionate illustrator to help me personally bring two captivating children’s books to life. The first book is approximately 26-28 pages long, and the second one spans around 24 pages. Both projects require a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft enchanting scenes with dimensions and elements that glow with radiance.

Job Description:
As my Children’s Book Illustrator, you will be responsible for:

Creating original and vibrant illustrations that align with the narrative themes and engage our young audience.
Crafting spot illustrations, spreads, and unique word formatting to enhance the storytelling experience.
Ensuring consistency in the visual style and characters throughout both books.
Collaborating closely with me to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Incorporating feedback and revisions as needed to ensure the highest quality illustrations.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in illustrating children’s books.
Proficiency in digital illustration tools and software.
A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of artistic styles, including a talent for creating dimension and glowing scenes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.

Compensation:
Please provide a range for your pricing based on your experience, complexity, and time commitment for both books.

Timeline:
I aim to have both books completed by February or thereabouts.
