Christian Marketing Expert / Social Media

Why Christian? Actually this job is not Christian related, but as I am a Christian, I would love to help out another Christian and also their family with a possible long term job.

I am based in New Zealand (married to a Filipina). I am starting an Insurance related business and am creating an extensive website that will be finished soon. I need a Social Media person to help me with ongoing Social Media and Marketing. This is NOT a sales or telemarketing type role, you will have no direct communication with clients or prospective clients. This will be a Social Media Management role and probably some research involved to help fine tune that Social Media.

Ideally you will have a Marketing Degree – but this is not a requirement.

I will not be training you how to do Social Media…..you will already know how to do that, in fact, you will consider yourself to be an expert or at least advanced in your skills.

I will need to see past work that you have done and understand the “good” results that you obtained. Having written references from your past clients would also be helpful.

This is a start up business, but I do have over 20 years experience in Insurance, so know well what I am doing. We will be starting reasonably slow, but will build your hours as our business grows. Come and join us on this journey.

New Zealand only has a total population of only 5.5 million people, so that makes Social Media challenging as we do not have large numbers of people to market to. I have a background in Sales and Marketing, but have no experience Social Media marketing, that is why I want You on my team.

Hours? I really don’t know at this stage. It will depend on your recommendations and the marketing and social media plans you put in front of me. That will mostly decide the hours you work.

Note: Due to the nature of what we are doing – we will not need SEO expertise, as people in New Zealand do not go to the internet to search for Insurance. So Google Rankings are of no interest to us. Driving people to our website via Social Media is the main goal.
