Job Description

– Our Company –
Maid My Day is a Cleaning Company operating across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra within Australia. We service the Australian Aged Care Industry by having our workers provide cleaning services for the elderly who still live in their homes. We have been operating for 16 years and we have approximately 200 cleaners working for our company.

– The Role –
Due to recent growth, we are now looking for an experienced Human Resources Representative to manage the Cleaner Training & provide support and assistance to our beautiful team of cleaners as they begin and progress on their journey through our business. We currently have 11 full time VA’s who work from their homes in the Philippines. We have an experienced full time Cleaner Manager and your role would be to work along side them managing your own team of cleaners in a Geographical zone within Australia.
Responsibilities would include;
1. Support and manage the progression of each cleaner after they have been recruited and onboarded into our business.
2. You will guide them through each Maid My Day Training milestone. You will monitor and encourage their performance with the aim of getting them to Ideal Employee status and prepare them to apply for a role within the organisations of our Aged Care partners
3. You will provide feedback for improvement and work with their Employment consultants to ensure that they are achieving their necessary progress
4. Manage issues that arise for our cleaners

– Skills and Experience Required –
We are looking for a person who has 5 years experience working as a Human Resource Representative and who has also had the ongoing responsibility of dealing with field staff on a daily basis. The qualities we are looking for include; Someone who is organised and knows how to manage their time with the ability to develop relationships with your staff. You will have the ability to be both empathetic in understanding each of your team members challenges, while still be being firm and following the Maid My Day rules. A positive and helpful attitude is essential. Being part of a tight knit team, you will feel comfortable in taking responsibility for your own work and being held accountable for meeting your KPI’s. Lastly, as our business platforms are either cloud based software on google docs, experience with these systems is beneficial so that you can hit the ground running.

We are looking for an individual who will be with us for a long period of time and who’ll be able to help us with the next stage of our company’s journey.
