Build Relationships: Your role will involve building and nurturing relationships with clients. Building strong client relationships can lead to increased trust, loyalty, and repeat business. Prioritise these relationships as opposed to just trying to sell, sell, sell.

Upsell Our Content: One of the primary goals of this role is to identify opportunities to upsell the company’s content. This means recognizing when a client might benefit from additional products, services, or content offerings that the company provides. Your task will be to communicate these opportunities effectively and persuasively to clients.

Content Knowledge: You’ll need to have a deep understanding of the content offerings your company provides. This includes knowing the various types of content available, their benefits, and how they align with different client needs.

Client Needs Assessment: Through conversations and interactions, you’ll need to assess the unique needs of each client. This will allow you to tailor your upselling efforts to align with their goals and requirements.

Effective Communication: Communication is key in this role. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills to convey the value of upselling opportunities to clients clearly. This involves articulating how the additional content or services can benefit the client’s objectives.

Negotiation and Persuasion: Upselling often involves negotiation and persuasion. You’ll need to find ways to address any potential objections clients might have and provide compelling reasons for them to invest in additional content.

Sales Tracking and Reporting: Keeping track of your interactions, the status of upselling efforts, and the outcomes of these efforts will likely be part of the job. This information could be used to assess your performance and refine strategies.
