Closet Designer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Closet Designer to join our team. As a Closet Designer, you will work with our US-based designers to assess clients’ preferences and their closet needs, design custom closet solutions, and manage the installation process. You will be responsible for developing, creating, and executing design plans for our custom closet designs. The ideal candidate is a career-minded, fast learner, who takes pride in his/her work and is not afraid to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. We want a proactive, positive problem-solver who will explore innovative ways to establish a successful and positive customer and employee-oriented culture.

Responsibilities:

– Design custom closet solutions using ClosetPro or Cabinet Vision software
– Collaborate and communicate with US Based Designers and their clients to finalize designs, present projects, and
customized plans clearly and professionally, and ensure their needs are met
– Manage the installation process, working with contractors and clients to ensure timely and accurate installations
– Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the design and installation process
– Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and materials to provide innovative and cutting-edge closet solutions
– Managing and maintaining multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases of the projects with a high level of
accuracy
– Price projects and manage the ordering process from concept to completion.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in Closet or Cabinetry design
– Experience using CAD or similar Design software and Microsoft Office Suite
– Excellent project management skills
– Attention to detail and ability to work with less supervision
– Knowledge of construction and installation techniques is a plus
– Ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business-level fluency in English
– Aptitude for learning new skills and programs
– Flexible and open-minded to new ideas
– Must be willing to work in the CST time zone
– Has a sense of urgency and responsibility. Get things done quickly and correctly
– Must be highly organized and has a high attention to detail
