What is HUUB?
HUUB is a city-wide, data-driven, digital entrepreneur support platform for entrepreneurs. Our goal is to create access to vital entrepreneur resources for small business owners so they can survive, thrive, and build generational wealth. We do this through our digital platform that helps city governments deliver: free learning programs, and social feeds, find free or discounted consultants, and connect the resources in their community to better serve business owners.

Where we need help:
You will be working closely alongside the CO+HOOTS & HUUB Founder/CEO to provide comprehensive administrative support for day-to-day operations including, email and calendar management, financial management, reporting, research, and other ad hoc tasks.

What does the job entail today?
Assist with email and calendar management, organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating timely reminders and updates on planned activities, and liaising effectively with internal and external contacts, partners, vendors, clients, and colleagues.
Handle basic administrative tasks such as research, filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and invoicing.
Support with processing expense reports and maintaining accurate records.
Monitor budgetary adherence for specific projects or initiatives.
Manage office supplies and ensure inventory is well-maintained.
Coordinate and facilitate supply orders.
Support research for bid opportunities.
As needed across multiple departments, fill gaps cross-functionally by building an understanding of the unique operational needs of our business.

What kind of person are we looking for?
Adaptive communication; with strong written and verbal skills with sharp attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness, and the ability to communicate well both internally and externally.
Strong Quickbooks skills, with proficiency in office administration.
Proactive; with a take-care-of-it-now mentality when appropriate, and timely execution of future deadlines
Organized and detail-oriented, with exceptional time management skills; can keep track of multiple projects at the same time and catch mistakes, errors, or changes before they snowball into a bigger problem.
Sharp and resilient; quick to learn new systems, problem solve, have a never-give-up mentality
Approachable with high EQ; with the ability to keep cool under pressure; let the small things go; be the person that others can come to for answers (or point them in the right direction); humble and curious
Collaborative; can communicate cross-functionally and within teams via appropriate mediums (email/Slack/text/call) and collaborate with people to get things done efficiently while keeping it all together
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

More practical skills needed:
Startup, SAAS, or non-profit experience is a plus.
Experience working directly with CEO/Founders is a plus.
Experienced in Google Suite, especially Google Sheets, Asana, and Canva.
