Job Description

Hello!

We at Novastone AI Are building custom SaaS for our own internal team and then will use that technology for our customers.

Who you are:
You are passionate about UX/UI development with ReactJS/NextJS.

If you have a passion and have built at least 1 project to show for it, you should apply for this position.

We want people that care about the experience, quality and design of an application.

What you will be doing:
You will be using our existing ReactJS/NextJS SaaS Application Template.

You will be putting together components that we have already developed with our partners,
such as:
-AI Enabled Lexical Editor
-AI Enabled Chatbot on Documents using Langchain

You will be putting those together in the provided screen mockup that we share.
You will mostly be adding input boxes customizing UI/UX, adding NextJS backend logic to an Existing ReactJS + NextJS + Supabase “Blank Slate” Project.

You will only be responsible for developing those screens to work well independently of each other and not the entire app.
We have an internal team of Senior Engineers that will handle integration and additional customization if needed.

Payment:
We use Payoneer and Easy Pay, you let us know your preference.
Payment is Weekly – Every Friday Afternoon Central US Time.

Payment Structure:

Frequency – One time per week
When – Paid Every Friday Afternoon Central US Time.

If you finish the feature within 2 weeks (one feature has about 1-3 screens depending on complexity)
You make:
$240 per week
$240 x 2 = $580 total.

OR If you finish the feature within 1 week.
We will pay you the $580 + $20 bonus = $600.
(Time bonus)

If you do not finish within 2 weeks:
– We pay you $240 for your work.

– And then our Senior Engineers evaluate if we want to continue the project – it may be too costly or complex, so we might give you another feature, or stop the project.

If you complete all the features and are a great fit:
– If you do well and we start selling this to our clients, you can be part of our team and earn a percentage of the additional revenue from the product (1-5% off of our bottom line – you will receive a Stripe report every month and the payment amount in Payoneer)

Finally, the Interview Steps:
After you apply, if you fit the position:
1 – We will reach out for a 30 minute virtual call at your scheduled time
This is a relaxed call where we will share our screen to show you our vision on a Miro board with all screen mocks.

And this is also where,

we will get to know more about you, such as:

What you have been working on,

if you could describe to us a project that you worked on or built yourself and talk about it.

2 – Step 2: Offer Letter:
We will send you an offer letter if we think you are the best fit out of all the candidates that have applied.
You will have 3 business days from day it is sent out to Accept / Deny otherwise the offer expires and goes to the next candidate, we will send a final reminder the day before.

Once Hired:
– We will have a once a week virtual meeting in the beginning of the week on Monday.
– You will have access to our 2 Slack Channels:
One is for anything you need from us, like account keys, configuration, security access, etc.
The second one is anything project related, like questions, and brainstorm sessions – members of our ‘advisory’ and ‘consultant’ board will also use this channel.

Your Dev Environment:
-You will be working in your local environment and committing to a ‘development’ branch that you own. That code is not deployed to any environment.

Project Management:
Once the development branch is ready to be deployed (Friday),
Our Infrastructure team make sure it deployed to our Dev environment,
where we will test and fix any simple bugs.

We will create any other features or adjustments and put them into a new sprint (push to next week).

That way we are making progress and not concerned about the minor imperfections or improvements that could be made later as part of another feature set.

You will be using ReactJS and NextJS to commit to development branch, once ready, our devs will stage to the environment.

Technology Stack:
ReactJS, NextJS, ClickUp, Slack, Github, Git.
Familiarity with using and calling external APIs and JavaScript/NodeJS libraries and frameworks
