Job Description

As a Cold Call Sales Representative, you will be responsible for proactively reaching out to potential customers via phone calls to generate leads, promote products or services. Your primary goal will be to establish interest, build rapport, and schedule meetings or consultations for further discussions with the sales team. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and persuasion skills, be target-driven, and have a strong ability to handle objections.

Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound cold calls to potential customers with the aim of generating leads and sales opportunities.
Introduce and promote the company’s products or services to prospects, highlighting their features, benefits, and value proposition.
Engage in active listening to understand prospects’ needs, pain points, and requirements.
Build rapport and establish relationships with prospects, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
Effectively communicate product/service details and handle objections or concerns raised by prospects.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of calls, conversations, and sales activities in the CRM system.
Achieve or exceed weekly/monthly targets for call volume, lead generation, and appointment setting.
Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings or consultations for qualified leads.
Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings.
Continuously improve sales techniques through training, feedback, and self-learning.
Requirements:

Proven experience in outbound cold calling, telemarketing, or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade prospects effectively.

Persistence and resilience to handle rejection and objections in a professional manner.

Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Familiarity with CRM software and the ability to effectively manage and update customer information.

Excellent organizational skills to prioritize and manage a high volume of calls and follow-ups.

Ability to adapt to changing situations, work independently, and be a team player.

Knowledge of the industry and product/service being sold is a plus.

Professional and friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
