Job Summary:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our VOIP company, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by generating new sales opportunities and qualifying leads. You will be responsible for prospecting, contacting potential customers, and setting appointments for our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong telecommunications background and be proficient in English with excellent note-taking abilities. Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Zoho, is preferred but not mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Prospect and identify potential customers through various channels, including online research, cold calling, and email outreach.
-Conduct outbound calls and engage in consultative conversations to understand prospects’ needs and educate them about our VOIP services.
-Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and determine their level of interest and readiness to purchase.
-Set appointments for the sales team with qualified prospects, ensuring a smooth transition from lead generation to the sales process.
-Maintain accurate and detailed notes on prospect interactions and activities within the CRM system (preferably Zoho) to ensure effective follow-up and collaboration with the sales team.
-Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide them with valuable insights and information about prospects to facilitate successful sales engagements.
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to effectively position our VOIP solutions and differentiate them from competitors.
-Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, appointment setting, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by the sales management team.
Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills through training and professional development opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Prior experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
-Strong note-taking abilities to capture important details and accurately record prospect interactions.
-Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed targets and goals.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Zoho, for lead management and activity tracking.
-Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of voice over IP (VOIP) technology and its applications.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.
-A positive attitude, resilience, and persistence in pursuing sales opportunities.
-Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
