Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and development of commercial projects, from concept to completion. The Commercial Architect will collaborate with internal team members to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and timelines while meeting the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design process for commercial projects, including conceptualization, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
Develop and present design proposals to clients, incorporating their requirements and preferences while ensuring adherence to building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with internal teams, including architectural designers, engineers, and project managers, to create cohesive project plans and resolve design challenges.
Prepare and review construction documents, drawings, specifications, and other project-related documentation.
Coordinate with external consultants, interior designers, and draftsman to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to incorporate innovative design solutions into projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Proven experience (3 years) working as an Architect, with a focus on commercial projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of construction standards.
Excellent design and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.
Project management experience, including the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Professional licensure as an Architect preferred.
