Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Interior Designer with expertise in hotel design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior projects for hotels, demonstrating a deep understanding of functional and aesthetic elements while paying meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements, brand identity, and design objectives for hotel projects.
Develop creative and functional design concepts for hotel interiors, including public spaces, guest rooms, restaurants, and amenities.
Produce detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D renderings to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to clients and project teams.
Source and specify appropriate materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) aligned with project specifications, budget, and design intent.
Review and analyze product specifications, ensuring accuracy and suitability for the project’s functional and aesthetic requirements.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless coordination and execution of design plans.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, providing regular updates and addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, materials, and new technologies, integrating innovative solutions into design proposals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited institution.
Proven experience (3 years) as a Commercial Interior Designer with a focus on hotel design projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting product specifications and technical drawings.
Exceptional eye for detail, spatial awareness, and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
