Atlas Self Storage is hiring an Acquisition Analyst to help create underwrite properties quickly and help influence deals.
As the Acquisition Analyst you’ll help us take deal opportunities to fully underwritten financial models by calling competitors and inputting + formatting the information a seller provides us.
We are a young real estate company with an exciting year ahead. In this position, you’ll work closely with our Senior Acquisition Associate and be fully responsible for the company’s underwriting services to help analyze a deal quickly to get the owner an offer.
This is a full time, remote overseas position beginning ASAP.

Job Overview:
We send 30,000+ mailers, 20,000+ texts and 15,000+ cold calls every year for the opportunity to make offers on existing storage facilities nation-wide.
Once we finally get in touch with a seller and get their unit mix, expenses and revenue numbers, it’s our responsibility to get them an offer as quickly as possible. That’s where you come in. As our Acquisition Analyst, you will be directly responsible for underwriting and analyzing any deal that comes through our door.
Underwriting a deal consists of calling all neighboring facilities to understand the market rents, organizing the Google Sheet to factor in unit sizes, leaving detailed call notes, and updating expenses when received by the seller.
Who You Are:
You are excellent at Microsoft Office/Google Suite. You have previous experience with simple financial modeling and are able to jump in immediately to organize a Google sheet and ensure that the formulas are working properly.
You are organized. You have experience with Google Docs & Sheets to track projects, tasks and build systems. Bonus points if you’re familiar with Hubspot as well.
You are great at communicating. You answer Slack & Email notifications quickly and are extremely responsive once a task has been assigned to you. You lean towards over communicating when assigned a project to ensure the entire team has been given updates.
You have experience working in Real Estate acquisitions. Understanding how the commercial real estate space works is important to help Atlas follow industry best practices. Having 1-3 years of experience working within another real estate organization is preferred

Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for all things day-to-day underwriting. If you made it this far you probably have an idea of what this means, but for us this includes:
Calling competitors to get market rates & unit availability
Start to finish underwriting of the property
Organizing prospective buyers lists in CRMs
Preparing disposition decks
Various admin disposition projects
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in a real estate acquisition or administrative role
Exceptional Excel Proficiency
Exceptional English Proficiency
Must be available to work 9AM-5PM Central Time
