We’re looking for a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team and play a crucial role in our operations! As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for providing accurate and competitive estimates for roofing projects. RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Review project plans, specifications, and documents to determine roofing material quantities, labor requirements, and project scope accurately.
* Receive project plans from clients, analyze them to calculate project costs precisely, and promptly prepare estimates within specified deadlines.
* Estimate roofing projects across various commercial sectors, including office buildings, shopping centers, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities, covering new construction, re-roofing, repairs, and maintenance work.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability for materials and labor.
* Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools for detailed and comprehensive project cost estimates.
* Prepare clear and concise estimates, proposals, and reports for internal review and client submission, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, sales, and procurement, to ensure accurate and timely project pricing, and work with the sales team to develop competitive bid proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
* Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to interpret project requirements accurately.
* Communicate effectively with clients throughout the bidding process to address questions, provide clarifications, and ensure transparency.
* Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies to provide competitive and cost-effective estimates.
* Ensure all estimates and proposals meet company standards for accuracy, completeness, and profitability.
* Maintain detailed records of estimating activities, including material take-offs, labor calculations, and pricing data, as well as organized files and records of all project-related documents, plans, estimates, correspondence, and revisions.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator in the USA market, covering commercial roofing, apartments, retail, and industrial sectors.
* Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Xactimate, AccuBid, or similar.
* Proficient in various roofing systems, including built-up roofing (BUR), single-ply membrane, metal roofing, and modified bitumen.
* Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
* Familiarity with roofing codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Ability to evaluate roof conditions and identify potential issues or areas in need of repair or replacement.
* Experience with value engineering and cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and performance standards.
* Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to present and explain estimates to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
