Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Spray Painter to join our dynamic team. As a Commercial Spray Painter at Allroads Transport Engineers, you will play a crucial role in applying high-quality paint finishes to our range of commercial vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
• Apply paint using various techniques, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
• Mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired finish and colour accuracy.
• Ensure an even and smooth paint application while adhering to quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment to ensure longevity and performance.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and standards in the painting process.
• Provide input on paint and coating selection based on project requirements.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Commercial Spray Painter, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
• Proficiency in surface preparation, colour matching, and various painting techniques.
• Familiarity with different paint types, coatings, and their applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Able to apply for a valid work visa for Australia and willingness to relocate for the position.
