Job Summary:

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for managing, growing, and fostering engagement within our online community using the Circle platform. This individual will develop and implement strategies to create a vibrant and interactive community that supports our organization’s mission and values. They will be responsible for creating and curating content, moderating discussions, organizing events, and cultivating relationships with community members, influencers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement community engagement strategies that align with our organization’s goals and objectives.
Set up and manage our Circle community platform, ensuring an organized, user-friendly, and inviting environment for members.
-Create, curate, and share relevant and engaging content that resonates with our community and drives engagement.
-Establish and enforce community guidelines and policies to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
-Monitor and moderate community discussions, addressing any issues that arise and providing support to members as needed.
-Plan and facilitate online events and activities, such as webinars, Q&A sessions, workshops, and virtual meetups.
-Encourage member participation by actively engaging with community members and promoting thoughtful discussions.
-Analyze community metrics to measure engagement, identify trends, and uncover areas for improvement.
-Build and maintain relationships with key community members, influencers, and stakeholders, leveraging these connections to strengthen the community.
-Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, customer support, and product development, to align community initiatives with company objectives and gather valuable feedback from community members.
-Stay current on best practices in community management and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the community experience.
-Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

-Proven experience in community management or a similar role, preferably within the education industry.
-Strong knowledge of the Circle platform, including setup, administration, and best practices for community engagement.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
-Familiarity with social media platforms and their integration with Circle.
-Knowledge of content creation and curation, including text, images, and video.
-Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
-Analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
-A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive community environment.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
-By maintaining the title as “Community Engagement Specialist” and emphasizing the requirement to know how to set up and -use the Circle platform in the job description, you can effectively recruit a skilled candidate who will help you build and maintain a thriving online community.
-Must be fluent in English, BONUS if also fluent in Spanish.
-Must be willing to work in Mountain Standard Time (8 AM MST – 4:00 PM MST)
-Job is a FULL time position.
