Community Manager

We are looking for a digital-savvy community manager to take control of our online community and help build brand awareness and loyalty. The community manager will be responsible for engaging with gamers and helping create a strong brand identity.

You will be the first point of contact for online fans and followers, thus developing an intimate relationship with the online community.

To be successful in this role, you must have an outgoing personality and be ready to engage with our community.

Your daily tasks will include:

– Build a community of happy gamers who love playing and competing in Tournaments
– Be the interface between the community and business
– Work with the marketing manager to help develop our overall brand awareness and loyalty
– Engage with the online community and respond to comments and requests via Discord server and other means
– Relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders and partners
– Devise and implement community communication initiatives.

To be successful you will:

– Have at least 1 year of experience managing communities.
– Experience managing a Discord server
– Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
– Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques.
– Superb time management skills.
– Be ready to self-manage your own work
– Happy to work in an agile business in the early stages of start-up. Yes there will be pivoting as we work things out
– Preferably have previous exposure to a start-up and understand the challenges it can bring
– Has initiative and willingness to adapt to changes

You will be working closely with me so you will need to be available to work during Sydney business hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm AEST). Meetings will generally be scheduled during this time and this will normally be when the team works. The hours you work are flexible but you should be available during this time.

The role will start at a salary of 50,000PHP per month. Payments are split twice a month on the 15th and 28th of each month and are payable direct to your bank. Be sure you are comfortable with these terms.
