About the Position
The Senior Compliance Officer role is a complex and varied position. You will be responsible for the end-to-end Compliance functions of the group (the buck will stop with you!) No task is too big or too small ranging from ownership and management of compliance policies and procedures through to onboarding and monitoring clients.

The role will include:
• Ownership of global compliance policies and procedures and ensuring requirements are being met across various jurisdictions;
• Onboarding clients from initial questionnaire and documentation collection through to risk assessment and account opening;
• Identifying and performing enhanced due diligence as required;
• Ongoing due diligence and including transaction monitoring, internal/external alerts and refreshing documentation as required; and
• Creation and submission of internal / external reports.

The Ideal Candidate
• Very high level of both aural and written English (C2 / Native);
• High level experience with MS Office and experience with Google Workspace;
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar fast paced role;
• Have a practical understanding of compliance and the ability to take a risk based approach aligning with company goals and objectives;
• Willing to roll up their sleeves and help other team members get the job done – no task is too big or too small attitude;
• Sound knowledge of cryptocurrency, wallets, foreign exchange and financial markets; and
• Experience in a highly secure or regulated environment where confidentiality is paramount.

IMPORTANT: As a regulated entity, the candidate will need to pass relevant identification and background checks and gain the appropriate security clearance.
