Computer Software Programmer – Claims Management System

Job Description:
We’re looking for a meticulous and innovative Computer Software Programmer to join us. You’ll be pivotal in crafting and managing our specialized Public Adjusting Claims Management System and legal document templates. This role ensures our claims processing runs smoothly, providing efficient service while adhering to legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for our Claims Management System, emphasizing automation and accurate data handling.
2. Collaborate with claims experts, managers, and legal advisors to understand requirements and translate them into functional software.
3. Maintain a library of compliant legal document templates.
4. Create user-friendly interfaces for easy data entry and reporting.
5. Ensure system security and confidentiality of client and legal data.
6. Stay updated on insurance claims laws and regulations, ensuring our software remains compliant.
7. Train and support system users, creating training materials and user guides.
8. Customize existing software and integrate new features.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly.
10. Document system updates and development processes for future reference.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience as a Software Developer, ideally in insurance claims or legal software.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#.
Knowledge of database design, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
Understanding of software development cycles, particularly for legal and data-heavy applications.
Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
Proactive problem-solving ability and teamwork.
Experience with document automation and report generation is preferred.
Familiarity with public adjustment and insurance claims legalities is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:

On-call support availability for system emergencies.
Full-time commitment initially, with potential for reduced hours later.
Willingness to undergo industry-required background checks.
