We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced remote construction estimator to join our team. As a remote construction estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing construction drawings and breaking them down to determine the full scope of work and pricing for our projects.
Responsibilities:
– Reviewing construction drawings and blueprints to understand the scope of work
– Identifying and assessing potential risks and challenges associated with the project
– Breaking down the construction project into smaller, more manageable tasks
– Gathering and analyzing data to determine the cost of materials, labor, and equipment
– Communicating with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates
– Providing detailed pricing for the full scope of work, including materials, labor, and equipment
– Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and changes in building codes and regulations
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction estimator
– Strong understanding of construction drawings and blueprints
– Proven ability to break down construction projects and determine the full scope of work
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Experience using cost estimation software and tools
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Must be able to work remotely
