Responsibilities:
– Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand the scope and requirements.
– Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
– Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate estimates.
– Research and obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs, industry trends, and regulations.
– Present and explain cost estimates to project stakeholders.
– Assist in bid preparation and proposal submissions.
– Create a rough layout of a site plan and the ability to do zoning or re-zoning.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Construction Project Estimator.
– Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
– Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., ProEst, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, etc.).
– Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
– Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Knowledge of construction regulations and standards.
