We’re looking for a superstar to become our new construction project manager.

We’re part of a fast-growing, team expanding company that specialises in commercial and residential construction projects in Australia. We’re looking for the best person available to join our growing team.

You will be working within emails, project management and estimating software, MS office suites

This is a FULL-TIME role and requires some key skills…
You Will…
– Have exceptional written English and rarely make spelling mistakes…
– Great attention to detail in everything you do…
– Strive to improve processes and the way we do things as you will be in charge of this area and need to OWN IT…
– Have the confidence to speak up and report back to the team on where are members are at and what needs to happen with them…
– Have a exceptional understanding of construction projects, design, materials and project scheduling
– Coordinate with the Company CEO and Site Management team
– Be able to oversee, manage, control and report on project financials, budgets and expenditure
– Create trade packages and scope of works to engage subcontractors
– Manage project variations and design changes
– Assisting with pricing variations and checking final account
– Check plans (using Company checklist) and material cost report
– Assist with quantity surveying of plans and costing estimates
– Critical path planning, allocating subcontractors and updating schedule, using Builder Trend (training on Builder Trend system provided)
– Scheduling and ordering material
– Ensuring client variations are correctly actioned and recorded
– Allocating sub contractual labour
– Signing off all material/sub contractual accounts for payment
– Meeting milestone billing targets set by the Company
– Gathering of producer statements for Code of Compliance Certificate
– Overseeing maintenance period and organising subcontractors to attend to maintenance promptly and following up maintenance to ensure satisfaction of clients.
– Bring to the notice of the Managing Director opportunities and recommendations for suppliers of materials.
– Such other duties as the company may from time to time direct.
