Job Title: Virtual Construction Resource Planner and Scheduler
Location: Philippines (Remote)

As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Virtual Resource Planner and Scheduler to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Description:
As the Virtual Resource Planner and Scheduler, you will play a critical role in optimizing our resource allocation and scheduling processes to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our projects. You will work closely with our senior leadership team and be responsible for various aspects of resource planning, allocation, and management.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Resource Planning:

Lead the development and implementation of strategic resource planning initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
Engage with senior leadership to determine long-term resource requirements and investment.
Oversee the creation of policies and standards for resource allocation, ensuring optimal distribution and alignment with strategic objectives.

Leadership in Workflow Management:

Direct the evolution and maturity of the workflow management system, ensuring its alignment with evolving business needs.
Provide oversight to the monitoring of project progression, ensuring the leadership team receives timely insights and recommendations for adjustments.

Resource Optimization & Excellence:

Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on resource efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality assurance.
Provide guidance and mentorship to the team on best practices for resource utilization analysis.

Resource Tracking & Reporting:

Oversee the resource tracking process, ensuring accurate and timely data is available for strategic decision-making.
Present detailed resource utilization reports to the executive team, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Strategic Conflict Resolution:

Mediate high-level resource conflicts, ensuring decisions align with business priorities and stakeholder needs.
Develop protocols and guidelines for efficient conflict resolution at different organizational levels.

Long-Term Resource Forecasting & Planning:

Lead the resource forecasting process, focusing on long-term organizational needs, industry trends, and market dynamics.
Collaborate with finance and strategic planning teams to ensure resources are appropriately budgeted for and allocated in the organization’s long-term plans.

Stakeholder Communication & Engagement:

Represent the resource planning and scheduling department at the executive level, ensuring clear communication of strategies, challenges, and achievements.
Develop strong relationships with cross-functional leaders, promoting a culture of collaboration and integrated planning.

Innovation in Technology Utilization:

Drive the exploration and adoption of cutting-edge tools and technologies that can enhance resource planning and scheduling capabilities.
Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging continuous learning and adaptation to industry advancements.

Team Leadership & Development:

Provide opportunities for professional growth, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge required for their roles.

Compliance & Governance:

Establish and maintain governance procedures to ensure the organization complies with industry standards and best practices in resource management.
Review and approve major resource allocation decisions, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Management, Engineering).
Proven experience in resource planning and scheduling, preferably in a construction or related industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in resource management software and tools.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in resource allocation.

Requirements:

A fully equipped home office, preferably with a Windows-based computer or laptop
A reliable internet connection, with a backup plan for emergency situations
Must have a noise cancelling headset
Amenable to work Vancouver timezone
