Site Estimating Specialist Job Description:
Join a dynamic and rapidly growing construction team dedicated to excellence in every project we undertake. We specialize in delivering high-quality concrete foundations for residential & commercial buildings, providing a solid foundation for our clients’ visions to come to life. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Site Estimating Specialist to join our team and collaborate with our Site Coordination Team to ensure the smooth procurement of raw materials for our projects.
A day in the life of a Site Estimating Specialist:
Work days are Monday-Friday, & weekends (as needed, depending on workload)
Working hours 8am-5pm (Central Time, OT as needed, depending on workload)
Material Estimation: Collaborate with the Site Manager to accurately estimate the quantity of raw materials needed for concrete foundation projects, including aggregates, cement, etc.
Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply.
Cost Analysis: Analyze material costs and provide input to project budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all raw materials meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and quality checks as needed to verify compliance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material orders, deliveries, and usage. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders as required.
Communication: Communicate effectively with the Site Manager, project teams, and vendors to coordinate material logistics and address any issues or concerns.
Resourceful: Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate relevant strategies.

Salary:
$6 USD/hr training pay, plus OT
$7 USD/hr, plus OT, commission ability
