Smarcomms is growing!

We’re seeking a talented Social Media Content Creator to join our production team. You will work under the direction of our Creative Managers and the Creative Leader to bring our clients’ social media strategies to life.

As our Social Media Content Creator, you will excel at crafting compelling messaging that captures attention, evokes emotion, and encourages desired actions.

By applying the jobs-to-be-done framework, you will create content that aligns with our clients’ goals and resonates with their target audiences. Your content will be developed in accordance with the Smarcomms Creative Delivery Playbook (work in progress).

As a creative individual, you will embrace design thinking principles, consistently prioritizing functionality (desired outcomes) and user experience over mere aesthetics. Your passion for creating content that drives meaningful results for our clients will shine through in your work.

Your keen understanding of the primary objective of each post will enable you to align the message accordingly and select the most effective format, be it text, image, graphic, video, or carousel, based on the client’s plan, the social network, and the post’s purpose.

You will be adept at developing content for all stages of the marketing funnel. From creating awareness and attracting new potential customers (TOFU) to nurturing leads and building brand trust (MOFU), and ultimately driving conversions and fostering customer loyalty (BOFU).

Your content will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients’ customers through their journey.

You will work closely with our Creative Managers to ensure that the content you create aligns with our clients’ expectations and goals. When presenting your work for client approval, you will be responsible for clearly communicating the rationale behind your creative choices and how they support the desired outcomes.

We are seeking someone who can interpret social media performance metrics to continuously refine and adapt strategies. You will take full ownership of assigned tasks, proactively communicating progress, challenges, and success metrics to stakeholders while collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams and our clients.

You should exhibit excellent time management skills, adeptly juggling multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality. You will leverage AI-powered tools like Canva and Hemingway App to enhance efficiency, while ensuring critical human review and final editing.

To excel in this position, you should have a strong command of the English language. The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, ideally within an agency setting.
