We are a small (but growing) company in Canada who provide prenatal, birth, postpartum and beyond support services and products to new parents. Now that we are rebounding after the impact of Covid on our business we are looking to hire a content creator and administrator.
We have all of the usual social media channels – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and of course our website. We rebranded earlier this year and now want to work on getting that new branding out to new and expecting families in Canada. We have very limited email marketing campaign but we are keen to improve that with your help, ideas and enthusiasm.
The role requires someone who will use their own initiative, ask questions, take time to research, be confident to speaking with collaborators, and brings a passion that they want to share with the world.
We have a small team who are some of the best humans on the planet. We are all very passionate about what we do and we want to have another way to truly express that in all of our social media and email marketing. If you have experience of working with Klayvio then please let us know in your application as this is what we are currently using and we would like to expand upon this significantly.
The goal of this hire is to allow our followers and new followers to see the company in a lot more depth! We want to share more behind the scenes, more details of our services, more content about who we are, helpful content with a learning aspect and the ability to communicate in a more regular and consistent way while staying within our branding guidelines.
Analytics and ROI will be a part of the role, you will need to be able to share the growth you have created with us each month so that we can see that we are consistently growing the social side of the business and that there is a direct correlation with sales as a result from any advertising campaigns that you set up and run. This will apply particularly to our classes and our online stores.
If you are someone who can work in a small team, is a self starter, thinks outside the box, have a problem solving approach (and not expect someone else to fix everything for you), have excellent communication skills, an awesome personality, are very organized and want to be part of something special then we want to hear from you!

If you have experience in doing something similar that would honestly be our preference, while we can provide you with guidance and branding guidelines etc we are not going to be able to train you (you know how to create reels, you know how to use Canva, you can create quality and engaging content easily, you can repurpose content, you can schedule content. This will be your role to make your own and the plan is for you to then head a team of other content creators and social media assistants.
We don’t need this position to be full time but it can be full time if you would prefer it to be close to full time as possible. We have a lot of additional administration that we can use help and assistance with to provide full time hours for the right person.
