Content Creator for Social Media & Digital Marketing

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content for social media platforms, particularly Instagram Reels that is true to our brand.
• Produce and edit video advertisements for various platforms.
• Edit photos to ensure consistency in color and overall aesthetic.
• Design marketing materials, including posters and brochures, aligned with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns and initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital content creation.

Requirements:

• Excellent English Abilities
• Efficient editing skills with software suites.
• Brand awareness, you must understand how our Key West eco tour brand identifies and how to express it honestly to our mostly American guests.

Example Weekly Tasks:

• Create 7 Reels a week and schedule
• Create and schedule three general posts for Instagram and Facebook.
• Develop and publish TikToks.
• Collaborate on content planning and strategy with the Honest Eco team.
• Work on any additional design tasks as needed such as video editing, photo editing or poster creation. The vast majority of work will be social media related. But periodic work will be needed for other design needs.

How To Stand Out in your application:

We want to see your skills. We invite you to create a short reel for a generic eco tour company. The eco tour company can be ocean related or not. You are welcome to use our content, but I am not looking to try and get something for free, so use any content you find appropriate.

Reel Aesthetic and Vibe for the generic eco tour company:

Natural, vibrant, and authentic with bright lighting and real moments. Youthful, fun, and educational, showcasing genuine wildlife encounters and small group interactions. I would suggest our fonts (Intro Rust, Santa Ella, Bitter, Lato) and nature and ocean inspired colors. I worked with a designer to design our website, so that should be a clue. If you make a reel, say so in the subject line to make sure I don’t miss it.

We want to see your work:

I don’t have an instagram or tiktok, so sharing your portfolio via google drive works best, but share as you see fit. We also want to know your background, so include your CV please.

Interview Process:

Those candidates who prove competency will have a written communication and then potentially be invited to a video call where we will watch your process for developing a reel. We will want to see how you organize your workflow and what your process is.
