About the Role:
This role involves working on a high-profile event in the defense and security sector, celebrating a significant milestone. You will help amplify the event’s presence and engage the audience with compelling content.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
Create high-quality, engaging content including blog posts, articles, newsletters, social media posts, videos, and graphics.
Manage and grow our social media accounts, increasing engagement and followers.
Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed for maximum impact.
Could you collaborate with the marketing and PR team to ensure consistent messaging and branding?
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant innovations into our content strategy.
Respond to and engage with our online community, fostering a positive and interactive environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Content Creator and Social Media Strategist, preferably in events or defense/security industries.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in using social media platforms and analytics tools.
Experience with graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Knowledge of the defense and security industry is a plus.
Experience in managing content for large-scale events or conferences.
