Job Summary:
As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, creation, and distribution of high-quality content that aligns with the organization’s goals and resonates with the target audience. You will play a vital role in content strategy development, content production, team coordination, and performance analysis. Your expertise in content management, collaboration, and storytelling will contribute to enhancing brand visibility, driving engagement, and achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define content goals, target audience personas, and messaging strategies. Contribute to the development of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the organization’s brand identity, business objectives, and audience needs.
2. Content Creation and Oversight: Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of high-quality content across various platforms, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience. Manage the content calendar and production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
3. Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate a team of content creators, including writers, designers, videographers, and freelancers. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure collaboration among team members. Foster a creative and inclusive work environment.
4. Content Distribution and Promotion: Develop strategies for content distribution and promotion to maximize reach and engagement. Leverage appropriate channels, such as websites, blogs, social media, email marketing, and partnerships, to amplify content visibility and drive traffic.
5. Performance Tracking and Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, including engagement, conversions, and ROI. Use analytics tools and insights to evaluate the success of content initiatives, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
6. Content Governance and Standards: Establish content governance processes, including content standards, editorial guidelines, and content creation workflows. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, design, and product, to ensure content alignment and consistency across all touchpoints. Manage relationships with external content creators, agencies, or freelancers, when necessary, to ensure quality and timely delivery of content.
8. Content Optimization: Continuously optimize content based on audience feedback, analytics, and emerging trends. Implement SEO strategies, keyword research, and content tagging to improve organic visibility and search rankings.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Content Manager, Content Strategist, or similar role.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
– Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and support business goals.
– Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO best practices.
– Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Analytical mindset and proficiency in using content analytics tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
– Up-to-date knowledge of content marketing trends, storytelling techniques, and industry best practices.
– Experience with content creation and editing, including writing, proofreading, and producing various types of content (text, images, videos).
– Familiarity with content marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management tools, analytics software, and project management systems.
– Leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
– Must be Fluent in English
– Must be willing to work in Mountain Standard Time (8 AM MST – 4:00 PM MST)
