A New York City-based Public Relations firm is looking for a Content Manager to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Project Coordination in the field of Marketing or PR, experience managing multiple accounts, be proactive, detail-oriented, passionate, and communicative, and excel at building client relationships.
This is a fully remote freelance position. Must be reliable and responsive between the hours of

Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
– Generate compelling, high-quality content for various channels, including web, social media, and press releases.
– Ensure content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and PR objectives.
2. Project Coordination:
– Oversee end-to-end project management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute content initiatives.
– Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with PR strategies.
3. Content Optimization:
– Monitor content performance using analytics and feedback to refine strategies and improve engagement.
– Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance content effectiveness.
5. Team Collaboration:
– Work closely with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to bring content projects to fruition.
– Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
6. Quality Assurance:
– Maintain high editorial standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
– Conduct regular content audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
7. Communication Skills:
– Effectively communicate project updates, content plans, and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
– Craft clear and concise messaging that aligns with PR goals.
8. Problem Solving:
– Address challenges and troubleshoot issues that may arise during content creation and project execution.
– Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
– 2+ years of content creation and project management experience in PR
– Exceptional writing and editing skills.
– Understanding of PR principles and strategies is preferred
– Knowledge of the media relations process (pitching, angles, pitch writing) is preferred
– Highly organized and with experience in handling multiple accounts with ease (preferably B2B, Biotech, and/or Pharmaceutical accounts)
