About Travel Agent Haven

Travel Agent Haven is a newer website for a company and brand that’s existed offline for 3 years.

We’re a team of travel agents, affiliate marketers, and network marketers looking to expand our reach and increase our revenue.

We want to help travel agents at every step of their grand adventure.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced digital marketer to help us drive traffic, grow our email list, and run campaigns for sales and lead generation.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the blogging world, including the travel space.

If you have experience as a travel agent yourself, that makes you an even stronger candidate.

This person will work closely alongside the founder, and will likely be her right-hand assistant.

The right person for the job will already have some experience and working knowledge of content marketing, but Brittany will also train you, as she has a ton of experience helping travel agents get online. Now, she’s doing it for herself for the coaching business.

Though we’re hiring for a part-time freelancer, we really want for the person we hire to be a part of our team – so we’re looking for someone who can get along with all kinds of personalities.

Our team of travel agents includes more than 70 direct team members, with an overall organization of over 800 – so there’s plenty of room for us to grow together.

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities a virtual assistant is expected to assume in their position:

BLOG MANAGEMENT

Optimize blog posts for organic search
Add affiliate links into blog posts when applicable
Manage and update tables on blog posts
Manage and update databases on website
Write blog posts based on given outlines and tools
Manage blog contributions for website
Outreach to prospective blog contributors
Outreach to prospective affiliate partners, brands, and sponsors
Create blog posts and show notes from podcast episodes

PINTEREST MANAGEMENT

Create and manage Pinterest pins using engaging images and keyword-rich descriptions
Clear Pinterest boards of underperforming, irrelevant, or duplicate pins
Improve existing pin images, descriptions, links, keywords, and search engine optimization
Monitor and report on Pinterest metrics such as clicks, impressions, video views, and saves
Respond to comments, engage with boards (brand audience and non competing companies)

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

Stay on top of trends, including trending audio on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
Create and manage content calendars in Asana
Repurpose content into feed posts, carousel posts, stories, and short form video
Create post graphics in Canva, with or without templates
Manage Facebook Group for leads
Lead generation in related Facebook Groups
Manage Instagram account
Lead generation on Instagram in DMs
Build relationships with group members, subscribers, and followers
Manage leads in CRM, in Trello

EMAIL MARKETING MANAGEMENT

Write weekly email newsletter using provided template
Create and setup email sales funnels in ConvertKit
Create and setup welcome sequences in ConvertKit
Assist with launches and marketing campaigns
Track open rates, click-through rates, run A/B tests with subject lines
Create landing pages and integrate them with ConvertKit

ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS

Research and organize data
Maintain and manage contacts
Create presentations and documents
Manage social media
Gather and organize data for statistical analysis
Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

On top of the skills needed to complete the tasks listed about, the ideal candidate will also have:

Ability to manage a calendar and schedule appointments
Proficiency with G Suite (including but not limited to Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Gmail, and Google Forms)
Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and public relations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Native-level fluency in the English language
Familiarity with social media platforms
Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask
Skilled in data entry
The ability to prioritize tasks considering deadlines and importance
High-speed internet connection

Must be familiar with, have a working knowledge of, or be willing to learn:
