Content marketing manager

The Role:
The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for driving new guest growth through web content creation, specifically focused on SEO. As part of our brand building and customer acquisition efforts, we are scaling up our content creation. This includes both editorial and programmatic content. The roadmap for this content is mostly set, but we need someone to manage the process of generating this content at scale from managing data miners, creating surveys, analyzing data, writing content, managing copywriters, managing designers and using generative AI. You will be given the roadmap and expected to manage the process through to published work. Success will be measured by traffic popularity of your content, as well as external links to your content. You will report directly to the CEO.

This job will involve the following:
*Collecting and analyzing data. This could include creating surveys for our users, managing data miners or analyzing data.
*Working with tools or our designers to create visuals
*Writing accompanying copy or managing a copywriter to write content to go with the data, leveraging tools like ChatGPT and Frase
*Collaborating with our SEO (search engine optimization) team to optimize content for Google Search
*Collaborating with our Press, social and other marketing teams to promote content
*Drafting and sending emails to our community to promote content using Mailchimp

What sets you up for success:
*Experience with content marketing, including both editorial and programmatic content
*Results-oriented and comfortable with being held accountable for managing a complex process with ambitious goals
*Self-starter who can over-achieve results in environments with little structure or oversight.
*Fast worker who loves moving fast and getting things done!
*Experience with running surveys and extracting interesting insights from survey data, including basic statistical analysis using spreadsheets
*Strong written English skills
*Strong organizational and project management skills
