Marbella Lane is a hospitality company that curates beautiful homes, as well as design, develops, and manages tech-enabled luxurious vacation rentals and urban retreats with 5-star hospitality. Established in 2018 by Willy Chang and Yanan Sun, we pride ourselves on delivering the best value in our industry. We are an AirBnb superhost and manage our own listings and property turnover. We constantly strive to provide the best booking and management experience for our rental customers and homeowners.

Role and Responsibilities:
As our Content Marketing Specialist, your task is to help explain our value proposition and our passion for hospitality & travel into relatable content. You will play an essential role in shaping Marbella Lane’s online voice. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Copywriting: Craft articles, social media content, blog posts and other digital media to support our overall content strategy as we expand our ever growing network of homes and media properties.
Content Strategy: Help develop content strategies with our marketing and engineering teams to expand our keyword and organic search reach. Guide content calendar, keyword and topic selection, and bring ideas to help foster homeowner acquisition and site engagement.
SEO Optimization: Create outstanding content that provides utmost value to readers, aligning with our SEO strategy. Utilize tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to monitor and improve performance.
Research: Stay informed about hospitality and travel industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions in order to grow and sustain traffic.
Collaboration: Partner with teams across Marbella Lane, particularly with the management and engineering teams, to produce unique and interactive content.
Qualifications:
At least 1-3 years proven copywriting experience, ideally within the travel and or hospitality sector.
Exceptional writing and editing skills.
Comprehensive understanding of SEO principles and tools.
Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to industry trends.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have:
Prior experience in the hospitality and travel industry.
English and Chinese language proficiency.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS.
A portfolio of past writing and content experience.
