Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate Marketing Specialist to join our team. You’ll help us connect to and build a community of organizations that are doing good in the world.

Role will start at around 10 hours/week and quickly grow to 15-20 hours/week over the next 3-4 months for the right person.

Our company helps non-profits improve their marketing through modern design and digital strategies. We help these organizations build better connections with people, reach more people, and get better support for the causes they care about.

As our marketing specialist, you’ll assist in creating and running our internal marketing campaigns that connect with our clients and help us get new business. You’ll use your creativity, planning skills, and marketing know-how to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning and Creation
– Collaborate with CEO to develop ideas and write content in batches, 2 weeks at a time
– Work with designer to create graphics for campaigns and social content
– Repurpose content across multiple platforms: LinkedIn posts, Blog posts, Pinterest pins, email

Content Management and Distribution
– Upload blog posts to Webflow
– Manage and schedule content across various social media platforms
– Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels
– Set up and schedule emails in Convertkit
– Set up new lead magnets (forms/opt-ins) in Convertkit

Content Analysis and Optimization
– Maintain and update marketing scorecard regularly
– Utilize analytics tools to track and improve marketing performance: Inlytics for LinkedIn, Pinterest analytics, other platform-specific analytics tools
– Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Content Repurposing Strategy
– Follow our systematic approach to repurpose content efficiently:
– – Transform long-form content (e.g., blog posts) into shorter social media posts
– – Create visually appealing Pinterest pins from blog content and key insights
– – Adapt LinkedIn posts for other social platforms, considering each platform’s unique features and audience preferences
– Ensure repurposed content aligns with overall marketing goals and maintains brand voice

Skillset and Qualifications
– Relevant experience repurposing content
– Ability to build well-thought and researched content.
– Ability to convert info to digestible, informational, yet compelling content.
– Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in multiple projects.
