Job Summary:
As a Content Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing effective content strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across various digital platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with the organization’s goals. Your expertise in content marketing, audience analysis, and digital trends will be crucial in developing innovative and impactful content campaigns.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define content goals, target audience personas, and messaging strategies. Develop comprehensive content plans that align with the organization’s brand identity, business objectives, and audience needs.
2. Audience Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to understand the target audience, their preferences, and content consumption patterns. Utilize data-driven insights to inform content decisions and optimize strategies for maximum engagement and conversions.
3. Content Creation and Management: Create compelling, original, and high-quality content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email marketing, and other relevant channels. Ensure content is consistent with brand voice, style guidelines, and SEO best practices.
4. Content Distribution and Promotion: Develop strategies for content distribution and promotion to maximize reach and engagement. Leverage appropriate channels, such as social media, influencers, email marketing, and partnerships, to amplify content visibility and drive traffic.
5. Performance Tracking and Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, including engagement, conversions, and ROI. Use analytics tools and insights to optimize content strategies, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
6. Content Optimization: Continuously optimize content based on audience feedback, analytics, and emerging digital trends. Implement SEO strategies, keyword research, and content tagging to improve organic visibility and search rankings.
7. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, design, and product, to ensure content alignment and consistency across all touchpoints. Coordinate with external content creators, agencies, or freelancers, when necessary, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
8. Content Governance and Standards: Establish content governance processes, including content calendars, editorial guidelines, and content creation workflows. Maintain content standards, ensure accuracy, and adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Content Strategist, Content Marketer, or similar role.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
-Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
-Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO best practices.
-Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
-Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, content marketing strategies, and industry best practices.
-Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Experience with content creation, including writing, editing, and producing various types of content (text, images, videos).
-Familiarity with content marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management tools, analytics software, and project management systems.
-Must be fluent in English, BONUS if also fluent in Spanish.
-Must be willing to work in Mountain Standard Time (8:00 AM MST – 4:00 PM MST)
