The Content Strategist will be responsible for the review and publication of video content for our digital media platforms, as well as the planning and development of content strategies that align with business goals. This includes leading content production for social media, conducting extensive research to gain in-depth knowledge of the industry and topics, strategizing content pillars and sub-pillars, and planning the editorial and content calendar. The Content Strategist will also be responsible for overseeing and setting guidelines on the writing style and tone for content on the brand’s/creator’s platforms, and for ideating, writing, directing, and developing original and iconic content for the purposes of content marketing. They will be expected to keep current with the latest industry trends and developments in the area of social media, and to have the ability to both produce and manage the posting of all content for the brand/creator. Other responsibilities include performing content audits to assess the performance of existing content, performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and needed, creating and adjusting the editorial calendar, establishing style guides, developing a solid understanding of the target audience through market research, and conducting keyword and competitor analysis to provide insights on relevant content topics.
Responsibilities:
Review and publish video content on various platforms, ensuring that it meets standards for accuracy, quality, and brand consistency
Lead content production for social media, including copywriting, storyboarding, scripting, shooting, and styling
Conduct extensive research to gain in-depth knowledge of the industry and topics
Strategize content pillars and sub-pillars

Oversee and set guidelines on the writing style and tone for content on the brand’s/creator’s platforms
Ideate, write, direct, and develop original and iconic content for the purposes of content marketing

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
2+ years of experience in content strategy or a related field
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in content management systems and data analysis tools
Sound knowledge of keyword research tools, social media platforms, SEO, and SEM
