About The Position
As the Content Marketing Specialist, you will be our ideal candidate who has been driving content production efforts at speed and scale while ensuring excellence. You thrive in the fast-paced world of publishing and enjoy researching and learning about new topics regularly.
This role is for someone who experienced content professional who has worked on higher-level content assignments, such as lead generation pages, SEO pillar pages, and video scripts. You understand conversion and the buyer’s journey and can adjust your content accordingly. You also have a deep understanding of how SEO impacts organic traffic and are a master at weaving keywords into a piece of content without compromising its integrity.
You’ve worked in the tech space. You have the knack for simplifying complex concepts into relatable, engaging pieces of content; you do it while keeping the language respectful to an intelligent audience.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Research and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our industry and our core services.
– Be a major contributor to the planning, production, and project management of all content-related projects, ensuring their alignment with digital marketing and SEO goals.
– Collaborate with internal and external content producers to garner the attention of our target audiences, expand our digital footprint, and grow awareness, subscribers, and leads.
– Work closely with the global Content, Creative, and Communications teams to execute projects; bring fresh ideas to the table.
– Create exciting content. Use stellar writing skills to produce compelling pieces that educate and excite our audience – while ensuring projects meet our company’s brand and tone.
– Optimize and edit older content for consistency, grammar, and SEO improvements.
– Proactively solve challenges, suggest process improvements, and embody a growth mindset in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment.
– What You Will Bring To Our Team
– At least 5+ years of experience writing in the B2B space, preferably in B2B technology or in highly regulated industries, such as government, healthcare, and financial services.
– Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and research skills; able to bridge left-brain and right-brain thinking.
– Discipline to deliver copy ready for publishing on or before a deadline
– A keen eye for detail, grammar, and language
– Ability to take on high-level content assignments, particularly:
1. copywriting for lead generation/conversion landing pages
2. content writing for SEO-driven website pages/pillar pages
3. script writing for videos and podcasts
4. copywriting for social media and graphics-heavy content
– Ability to balance multiple projects and changing priorities; to function with minimal supervision and with a strong sense of ownership and accountability; and to collaborate optimally across internal and external organizations.
– Openness to constructive feedback and determination to meet company expectations for copywriting projects.
– Willingness to experiment with new mediums, channels, and projects.
– Commitment to internal and external customer service.
