Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and skilled part-time Video Editor to join our dynamic real estate team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and a keen understanding of social media trends, particularly within the real estate industry. You will be responsible for organizing, editing, and producing engaging video content that will be showcased across our social media platforms, with a focus on YouTube and Instagram.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the real estate team to generate innovative content ideas that align with our brand strategy and appeal to our target audience.
– Organize and manage video content, ensuring all footage is cataloged and accessible for easy retrieval and reference.
– Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product that’s suitable for broadcasting on social media. This includes camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
– Optimize videos for different social media platforms, considering factors such as platform standards, audience preferences, and best practices for content engagement.
– Ensure that all content is consistent with our brand voice, style guides, and quality standards.
– Incorporate SEO keywords and phrases into video titles, descriptions, and tags to enhance discoverability and reach on YouTube and other platforms.
– Provide suggestions for video content that can help in real estate promotions, listings, and brand awareness campaigns.
– Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, video editing techniques, and industry best practices to provide recommendations for content improvement and innovation.
– Coordinate with the marketing team to schedule and publish video content in accordance with the content calendar.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
– Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.
– Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, After Effects) is a plus.
– Excellent understanding of social media platforms, particularly YouTube and Instagram, and the types of content that perform well on each platform.
– Knowledge of SEO and how to apply it to video content for improved visibility.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with varying timelines.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Passion for real estate industry is a bonus.
This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, but candidates must be able to meet deadlines and occasionally adapt to quick turnarounds.
