**Job Description: Content Writer**
We are looking for a new team member who understands web writing, SEO best practices and brand centered story telling. You will craft various content types such as: website copy, blog copy, social posts and product descriptions that address our target audience and promote our brand. They will research industry topics and trends, optimize content for organic search, revise and edit pieces, and collaborate with our team members to ensure brand consistency. The ideal candidate will be creative, strategic, detailed oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Research and Content Development:** Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to develop original and informative content for a variety of mediums, including blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media posts, and our website.

2. **Marketing Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create content that supports advertising campaigns and marketing initiatives.

3. **Proofreading and Editing:** Review content for errors, inconsistencies, and clarity. Edit and polish existing content to enhance readability and quality.

4. **SEO Optimization:** Utilize SEO best practices, including keyword research, to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic to our website.

5. **Compelling Copy:** Create captivating headlines and body copy that capture the attention of our target audience and effectively convey our brand message.

6. **Identify Content Gaps:** Recognize the needs of our customers and recommend new content ideas to address gaps in our current content offerings.

**Requirements:**

1. **Educational Background:** Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or a related field.

2. **Experience:** Proven experience in content writing or copywriting, with a portfolio of published articles to showcase your skills and expertise.

3. **Tech Savvy:** Working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

4. **Writing Skills:** Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and an understanding of grammar and style.

5. **Multitasking:** Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.

6. **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
