Content Writers are responsible for using the written word to share information about a client’s products, services, or industry. Their duties include preparing document outlines, updating content based on client edit requests, and proofreading their work for tone, style, clarity, grammar, and formatting.

Duties and responsibilities:
– Writing content for social media clients (all in the legal industry)
– Meeting deadlines (bonus provided for meeting deadlines twice a month)
– Keeping project management tools updated.
– Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
– Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
– Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
– Submit work to editors for input and approval
– Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
– Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
– Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
– Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
– Update website content as needed

Knowledge, skills and abilities
– Excellent writing and editing skills including strong attention to detail
– Must be comfortable working under pressure and be an excellent team player, communicator, and organized
– Can understand different tones for different clients and create content based on that. Proper grammar, spelling, and tense usage are essential to master for this position.
– Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multitask
– Ability to work quickly and to agreed daily targets
– Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment
– Must be hard-working, well-organized, and resilient to changing timelines, requests, and deliverables
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– To have some sort of legal knowledge is a plus.
– Must understand the difference between website content writing, newsletters, and press releases.
– Own a Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10mbps.
– Willing to work on Pacific Standard Time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM California Time). Graveyard shift in Manila Time.
