WHO WE ARE
We (Click to view) are a VC-backed start-up based in Singapore focused on making it super simple for mobile game developers to significantly increase the visibility and game installs of their game. Today the process of store optimization (ASO) is highly manual, iterative, and resource-consuming, thus limiting most independent small developers from realizing the true growth potential of their games.
We – at SLAB – are completely automating these processes for mobile game developers. So now all they need to do is register and connect their Apple App Store or Google Play Store account.
Why ASO? – ASO brings free and organic installs to games, and is the best method to bring in installs during the early and mid-stages of game launch when the developers are still balancing game loads and mechanics and optimizing player experiences. The other way to bring in installs is through paid user acquisition – but this is quite expensive and doesn’t yield good results.
WHAT WE NEED
After talking to game developers, we found that most don’t even attempt to do ASO right (because it is time-consuming and requires knowledge) and simply try to buy installs – paid user acquisition.
We need a blog/content writer who can research and can:
1) Create SEO-optimized educational and marketing posts to discuss ASO, best marketing practices, merits of using ASO vs paid acquisition strategies, the optimal strategy to use, etc.
2) Alternate articles from 1 above with some news on mobile games, such as trends, major acquisitions, etc.
3) [NOT MANDATORY – We will be syncing these articles with social media posts for our small and growing community.] POTENTIALLY write SEO social media posts for the related content and marketing for SLAB.
DELIVERABLES: 8 articles in a month
LOOKING FOR:
An eager freelancer is willing to research and create exciting content targeting independent mobile game developers – usually aged 18-35 years, with creative personalities, and like direct messages and advice.
For the right candidate, this could be an ongoing engagement.
