Mr. Houseplant is an indoor plant expert and a social media influencer for houseplants and
houseplant care followed by over 500,000 followers on IG, YT, TikTok, FB and Twitter. He is
looking for a content writer for his houseplant care blog.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
95% percent of indoor plant care information online is incorrect, misleading or unclear. As a Mr.
Houseplant’s content writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, science-based,
factual content that educates our community on PROPER houseplant care under natural light as
well as on growing houseplants under grow lights.
You will write the content under Mr. Houseplant’s inputs and detailed guidelines. Prior to start,
you will receive paid training on Mr. Houseplant’s houseplant philosophy and some basic
content creation guidelines.
Our team is fully remote, so you can work from any part of the world.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
-Excellent written English language skills (native-level)
-Extensive blog post writing experience required
-Blog post writing experience on the topics of gardening or houseplants is highly
preferable but NOT mandatory
-Positive personality
-Excellent research skills. Content must be factually correct.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Content writing on the topic of houseplants.
-100% original content needed (no AI)
-Ghostwriters needed
-Blog post length: usually between 500 and 2,000 words
-If you can provide stock photos with articles, it’s a plus (we will provide access to paid
stock photo services)
